Pet Insurance
Helping you plan for your pet’s unexpected medical expenses
Pet insurance can help make unexpected illnesses, injuries, diagnostics and treatments more financially manageable.
While we encourage pet owners to consider pet insurance as part of planning for their pet’s healthcare needs we do not recommend or endorse any specific pet insurance. Careful research is needed to see which company has the best plan to fit you and your pet’s individual needs.
How does pet insurance work?
Every pet insurance company has it’s own policies and reimbursement process.
In general, payment is due at the time of your pet’s visit. As the pet owner, you are responsible for submitting invoices and claims directly to your insurance company. If they require additional documentation or treatment (SOAP) notes we will be happy to provide them. Once your claim is processed, reimbursement will be sent directly to you.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly with any questions regarding coverage, deductibles, reimbursement or eligibility.
